Catching up... (Naples and Seaside)
Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 01:19AM After the long week in Ft Wayne, I headed to South FL to the Naples Regional. I played the start of the week with McKenzie Myers (my regular partner) and we were primarily working on a update to our bidding system. The changes have been a big success (updating our strong club structure and adding more complete shape relays to many different auctions.) The new tools set have created some interesting auction and some great new ideas to discuss and consider how to improve.
In Naples McKenzie and I had the pleasure of teaming up with Alan Sontag. It was the first time I had the pleasure of playing with him and I hope that we will get to do it again sometime soon. (Always amazing to get to play with one of the best players of all time.) On the weekend, Jade and Anne came to Naples and we had a nice couple of days... In three days we won over 24 MP. I was proud of us...
After the Naples Regional we all headed West to Seaside, OR. Seaside is one of my favorite regionals every year -- beautiful time of year to be on the Oregon Coast. McKenzie and I had a lot of fun playing with Looby and Ulman for the first part of the week. On the weekend, Garth arrived and he and I worked on our new system changes and preparing for the NABC in San Diego. It was a fun full days -- and I was happy to see we had a solid showing in our first matchpoint event together.
(Next update from Aspen-Denver trip...)

Through playing cards, you can teach your children different card games that are played around the world. You can also teach them the ill effects of gambling and where to draw the line when playing with cards.
thank you.
